Obituary of Andre Chavis

COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Andre Chavis, 56, will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. 

    Mr. Chavis passed away at Providence Health on Saturday, October 27, 2018.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Corine Brown Chavis Kelly and the late Alfred Chavis Jr.  He owned and operated Above The Limit Sprinkler and Landscaping and was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.

    Surviving are his wife, Lynda Robinson Chavis; mother, Corine Chavis Kelly of Eastover; step-son, Justin Robinson; sisters, Marilyn Harris and Willette Fabor; and brother, Jesse Chavis.
