Obituary of Jeannie Griggs

CAMDEN – A memorial service will be held for Kimberly Jean Altman Griggs at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C.,   where she will be laid to rest with her late husband E. Lee Griggs on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

    She was preceded in death by her parents Lavella K. Altman and Betty J. Roberts  Altman.  Jeannie was “A Wife of Noble Character” as written in Proverbs 31: 10-31 (KJV).

    She was a small business owner with her late husband for over 30 years in Camden, S.C. and continued to run their business up to the day of her passing.

    Jeannie served as the Secretary of the South Carolina Locksmith Association for over 20 years and made many close friendships.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Griggs name to the Thiel-Meyer Animal Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, S.C.  29020.
