CAMDEN – A funeral service for Richard Alexander, 82, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Moore will officiate.

    Mr. Alexander passed away Friday, November 9, 2018. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Raymond Alexander, Sr. and Daisy Beckham Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

    Surviving are his wife, Sally Neal Alexander; children, Louis Hare, Jr. (Melissa) of Camden, Jacqueline Alexander, Glendora Alexander and Sharlene Crowley-Alexander all of Buffalo, N.Y.; brothers, Raymond Alexander, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, Clarence Alexander of Newport News, VA; sister Gail Alexander of Atlanta, GA; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and a longtime friend, Ron Thomas.
