Obituary of Royleen Charita Vincent Gardner

LUGOFF – A memorial service for Royleen Gardner, 74, will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Pastor David Snodgrass will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Mrs. Gardner passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018.  Born on November 1, 1944 in Lancaster, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Leroy Vincent and Hattie Mae Baker Vincent. She was a guardian ad litem in Kershaw County and an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Camden. After retirement she was an active member of the Tri-State Rebels.

    Surviving is her husband, James Edward Gardner; daughter, Jamie Damron (Tom); sister, Iris Coffman; good friends, Janice and Jack Young. She was predeceased by her siblings, Doris Wilson, Joe Vincent and Wayne Vincent.
