Obituary of Dorothy Virginia Kelly Branham

COLUMBIA – A celebration of life service for Dorothy Virginia Kelly Branham, 83, will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery.  The Rev. Bob Moore will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Branham passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019.  Born in Ridgeway, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Branham Kelly. She retired from Branham Plumbing and attended Radiant Life Church in Pontiac.  She enjoyed playing the piano and gardening.  Mrs. Branham was full of life and cherished her family especially her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Grady L. Branham; daughter, Brenda Branham of Columbia; son, Nathan Branham (Phaedra) of Columbia; sisters, Barbara Hill (Billy) of Eastover, Gloria Branham (Lonnie) of Ridgeway and Naomi Brazell of Columbia; grandchildren, Mason Branham, Cam Branham, Lauren Pansegrau and Reed Pansegrau; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by sisters, Oleta McDaniel (Gene), Sylvia Smith (Lannis) and Reola Reynolds (Wesley); brother, Rudy Kelly; and brother-in-law, Tom Brazell.

    The family would like to thank Cheryl Aycock, Debbie Reitnauer and Lotey Smith for their loving care given to our mom.
