Obituary of Joyce R. Wood

LUGOFF – Graveside service for Joyce Rebecca Wood, 61, will be held on Monday, Jan 21, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in Round Top Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Wood passed at home on Thursday, January 17, 2019.  Born in Lugoff, she was the daughter of the late John Walter and Eula Kelly Ruff.  She lived a simple life and enjoyed raising her animals.  Mrs. Wood loved and cherished her family dearly.

    Surviving are her husband, Michael Wood; children, Micque Wood, Genorris Wood and Sentel Wood (Erika); brothers, Romeo Ruff, Terry Ruff (Pauline) and Frederick Ruff (Sharon); sisters, Johnnie DuBose (Charles), Melvine Ruff, Audrey McClester and Janice Brown; sister-in-law, Terry Shepherd (Willie); and 7 grandchildren.
