Obituary of Marion Furman Gregory

CAMDEN – A funeral service for Marion Furman Gregory, 75, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Cook Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Dixon will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.

    Mr. Gregory, husband of the late Ruby Lee Wooten Gregory, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late James and Christine Whitaker Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing.

    Surviving are his sons, Marion Junior Gregory (Melinda) of Harlem, Ky, Lawrence Gregory (Cassie) of Montgomery, Ala.; grandchildren, Dustin Gregory, Megan Gregory; brother, Carson Leon Gregory; and sisters, Linda Griffin and Brenda Lyles.  He was predeceased by a brothers, James Gregory, Bobby Gregory, Harley Gregory.
