Obituary of Linda Diann Saville

ELGIN – A funeral service for Linda Diann “Dee” Saville, 59, will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with a visitation 1hr prior. The Rev. Philip Blankenship will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Iheartdogs.

    Dee passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019.  Born on May 10, 1959 in Neuenburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Wanda Faye Haag Powell and the late Charles Edward Powell. Dee enjoyed reading, quilting, family ancestry, puzzles and horseback riding.

    She is survived by her life partner, Michael Burakiewicz; children, Katherine DiAntonio (Dean), Nicholas Alexander Saville, Jason Burakiewicz (Tasha) and Nathan Burakiewicz; grandchildren, Isabella Mya Jones DiAntonio and Jesse DiAntonio; brothers, Mark Powell (Kim) and Michael Powell; special friends, Don Cobb and Jeannette “Jenny” Cherni. She was predeceased by her brother, David Powell.
