did jerry ever tell you about the time he was sitting in his house resting and watching tv and his heart started skipping beats and cutting up? He said it was so hot outside you could fry an egg on the concrete, so he went straight to the garage and got his weed eater. He cranked that sucker up and as he went around the house cutting weeds he said; you want something to skip and cut up about, well here it is, go ahead skip now. that was Jerry Wayne Catoe through and through. we his old friends and co-workers, an assorted bunch of nuts and morons, will never, ever forget his love and zest for anything fun and crazy. Plus he was a good friend to us all. May God give you, Stephanie and family, his comfort in the days to come and guide you during this time of grief, and Jerry, wait for us by the Jordan, you can go ahead and fish if you want to, course we know you would anyway. God bless and keep us all

I had the chance to know Jerry after many years of knowing his daughters. He was so very proud of Amy, Kelly, Chesnee, & Emily. He adored his granddaughter, Olivia and enjoyed sharing his art studio with her. He was a very talented potter and painter, as most artist, too humble about his talent. He will be missed but never forgotten.
