CAMDEN – Funeral Services for Cora Lena Louise Freeman, 78, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Larry Newman will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church in the Garden. Ms. Freeman passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. Born in Montgomery County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Peter Lindsay and Eunice Edwards Freeman. Ms. Freeman was a member of Church in the Garden. Surviving are her sons, Gregory Beasley, Anthony Beasley; daughter, Cynthia Shepherd and son-in-law, Kenneth Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Connie Beasley; grandchildren, Jessica Diane Beasley, James Anthony Beasley, Kimberly Ann Beasley, Ashley Denise Shepherd, Christopher Shepherd, Savannah Shepherd and Alex Shepherd; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Marion Beasley.
