Obituary of Francies Ann Stukes

REMBERT – A service to celebrate the life of Francies Ann Stukes, 72, will be held on Friday 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. 

    Ms. Stukes passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 10, 2019.  Born in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Olcie Brown Stukes. 

    Surviving are her children, Maurice Stukes (Patricia), Cornell Stukes (Tonya), Marlina Woodberry (Quincy) and Shameika Mayrant; brothers, Clarence McLeod (Clara) and Melvin Stukes (Ronnie); sister, Runnette Williams; sister-in-law, Mary Stukes; brothers-in-law, John Chapman and Levan Chapman; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her lifelong companion, Ervin Chatman; brothers, James Stukes, David Stukes, Ernest Stukes, Thomas Lee Stukes and Ronnie Stukes; sister, Orelee McLeod; and brother-in-law, Robert Williams.
