Leigh, We have just learned of Cajuns passing. So saddened by the news. He was always willing to help me as a new rider when I moved to SC in 2003. Thankful for both of you and your friendship over the years. Riding the trail of tears together was a great time! He will be sorely missed! Praise to God for a life well lived, Brother Cajun. Rest In Peace. Leon & Angie Stallings

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

I was shocked to hear the loss of "Cajun". I first met Cajun in 1989 when he lived off Alpine road with Lee and Meg Burns. We lost touch over the years, but there was no better an individual than him. It always seems we lose the good guys too soon. R.I.P. my brother. God has himself a good man.

God bless you Cajun. You were so good to so many people. You didn't even have to be that well acquainted with them. That's how we met and then developed a friendship that I have valued to this day. You will be sorely missed by so many.

Praying for you, Lea, and your family. I know your heart is broken, but know that God is able to mend the pieces of your broken heart. Just trust in him to comfort you and give you a peace that passes all understanding... Remember this, no matter what anyone says, Cajun did not lose his battle with cancer... while he may not be walking among us here any longer... we know that he is walking with Jesus today... cancer free and Victorious!!! Love you sweet lady and will keep you in my prayers!!!

My heart goes out to my friend Leona and the other members of the family. I know he will be missed by all that knew him.
I will always remember the permanent smile and happy attitude he carried with him wherever he was. He always had a kind word and made conversation very easy, mostly because of that smile!
I love you Lee and send prayers for God's peace and comfort to blanket you during this sad and tragic time.
