Obituary of Robert V. Kardack
CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for Robert Vincent “Bob” Kardack, 74, will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Lee will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 608 Black River Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.
Bob fought courageously and was very gallant in his battle with cancer. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., he was the son of the late Vincent and Isabel Jones Kardack. He served in the United States Air Force. He retired from McLean Trucking and later worked for Kerwest.
Bob was of the Catholic faith and attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the coffee club at Robbie’s. He also loved his dogs, Webster and Sweetheart.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Brenda Waldron Kardack; sons, Bobby Kardack (Patty Freeman) of Camden and Brian Kardack (Page) of Camden; grandchildren, David Roberts, Forrest Kardack (Payton), Jacob Kardack and Brooke Kardack; step-grandson, Ryan Lyles; step great-grandson, Bryce Lyles; devoted sisters, Shirley Schnacky and Sharon Klingberg; niece, Mary Ann Schnacky; and his family in Minnesota.
