Obituary of Charity E. Moize-Peebles

CASSATT – A funeral service for Charity Eleana Moize-Peebles, 43, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Cassatt Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. William K. Knotts will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Power Funeral Home.

    Charity passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Chapel Hill, N.C. she was a daughter of Cindy Warren and the late Blank Logan. Charity loved doing family crafts with the children. She was a loving wife, Christian, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a member of Cassatt Baptist Church and Lamar Freewill Baptist of Pentecostal Faith.

    Charity was also an avid mission field volunteer, a NCHS Band Mom and a 1994 graduate of NCHS. She was a manager at the Piggly Wiggly Deli in Camden and enjoyed helping others in the community, always putting others before herself. She loved to cook and entertain others always through God’s Word.

    Surviving are her husband, Richard Peebles; mother, Cindy Warren; children, Guinn Moize, Colleen Peebles; sister, Marie Baker (Woody); brother, Curtis Logan (Elizabeth); step-sister, Lynette Stephens (William), step-brother, Robert “R.B.” Logan (Brenda); and many many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Benji Moize.
