CASSATT – Funeral services for Hardy J. Rogers Jr., 67, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. The family will receive Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Born in McBee, he was the son of the late Hardy J and Lucille Gainey Rogers, Sr. He enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Diane Watkins Rogers; daughters, Sharon Brown (Rodney) of Cassatt, Lydia Branham (Bradley) of Cassatt; sons, Hardie Rogers III (Tammy) of Kershaw, Michael Rogers (Marcia) of Camden, Spencer Rogers of Cassatt; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Lydia Cumbee.
