I did not know that Carolyn had passed until I read it in the Chronicle today(Tuesday). I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers will be with all of the family. We had reconnected on Facebook. Carolyn had always been a friend. I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her mom right now.

I remember one Thanksgiving my husband and I came to visit for the Thanksgiving holiday. Carolyn’s d I had not been very close, due to age difference. I met her friend Janice and we sat in her Mom’s kitchen and we laughed and laughed over stories of hers and Janice’s antics and adventures. It was such a great time! She was so jolly. We connected as cousins and enjoyed a phone friendship. I was sad to hear of her passing. I am sure her Mother and sister were there to greet her. My prayers are with her family in Camden and her friends.

I met Carolyn when she joined the First Baptist Sanctuary Choir and we both sang in the Soprano section. This happened only a few weeks before her amputation which I found to be an incredibly sad experience for someone so young. But Carolyn was so strong through it all. She told me "we Harvey women are made of pretty tough stuff." She never lost hope that she would learn to use that prosthetic leg well enough to meet her dream of returning to our church choir. Now she is singing in an even better choir, God's choir. Rest in peace Carolyn and keep singing like an angel.

I am very sad to hear the news of Carolyn’s passing. Our parents were friends way back when, and I remember lots of play dates from our very young years and being classmates at Antioch Elementary, and then Camden Middle and High Schools. I was glad to hear from her on Facebook from time to time over the last several years. Prayers are lifted for her family and all those who loved her.

I met Carolyn 3 yrs ago in the hospital. I went in to clean her room and as soon as I walked in she said to me oh my gosh we could be sisters because we looked so much a like. We've been friends ever since. She was a great friend and I truly will miss her very much.
