To the Family and Friends of Angela Hawkins,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy and respect for the loss of your loved one. I am a fellow firefighter from the East Atlanta, GA area. I did not know Angela personally, I learned about her tragedy from a nationwide alert for Firefighter Line of Duty Deaths. I would like to leave a few personal words of encouragement.
Its so refreshing to read about Angela and learn that she was someone who truly cared for our planet and the creatures that inhabit it. While she has departed from this world much too soon, she has left behind a legacy for others to follow. She seemed to live out the first commandment given by God at Genesis 1:26 "replenish the earth and subjugate it".
The Bible provides answers to our questions about death, "what happens to us when we die?", "why did this happen to such a good person?", and "where was God?".

The Bible has brought me comfort in my times of loss, I hope it does the same for you.
Respectfully,
