Obituary of James Dixon

LUGOFF – A memorial service for James Dixon, 85, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

    Mr. Dixon passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019.  Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late T. and Tena Tucker Dixon.

    Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Helen Salmond Dixon; son, James Dixon Jr.; daughters, Kathleen Neale and Sholanda Dixon; and 9 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by daughter, Beverly Bennett; sons, Raymond Dixon and Randolph Bennett; and 3 sisters.
