Obituary of Alex B. Robinson, Jr.

LUGOFF – Funeral service for Alex Buddy Robinson, Jr., 60, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Lancaster Memorial Park, Lancaster, S.C.  The Rev. Eric Boone will officiate.  The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Prisma Health Richland Children’s Hospital.

    Mr. Robinson passed away at home on Saturday, June 22, 2019.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Alex Buddy Robinson, Sr. and Frances Crook Robinson.  He was employed with Jeffers and Son, Inc.  He was member of Rowan Presbyterian Church and attended Pine Grove Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, and racing and was a Friend of the Gideon’s.

    Surviving are his parents, Buddy and Frances Robinson of Lugoff; children, Sean Robinson (Catherine), Kevin Robinson (Tabitha), Brandon Robinson (Shawna), Alexis Windham (Brandon), Allison Watt (Sean) and Danyelle Robinson; sister, Crystal Virginia Robinson; and 11 grandchildren.
