Obituary of Wilma Byrne Thompson

ELGIN – A graveside service for Wilma Byrne Thompson, 91, will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Middleburg Memorial Cemetery, Middleburg, VA.

Mrs. Thompson passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Born in Arcola, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Byrne. She was a fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Jane Mason (Alfred) of Purcellville, VA, Patricia Ann Church (James) of Point Blank, TX; son, David Lee Thompson (Christie) of Elgin; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund T. Thompson; siblings, Bill Byrne, Dick Byrne and Louise Grant.
