Obituary of David L. Wilson

KERSHAW – A memorial service for David Lee Wilson, 70, will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Refuge Baptist Church.  The Rev. Evan Smith will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to Refuge Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.

    Mr. Wilson passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Louis Lee Wilson Sr. and Mary Ellen Bass Wilson.  He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.  He was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed fishing, golfing and NASCAR.

    Surviving are his children, Lori Davis, Shellie Wilson, Kellie Wilson and Mitchell Wilson; sister, Fay Hartis (Gene) and Mary Worley (William); brother, Louis Wilson Jr. (Crystal); sister-in-law, Ann Wilson; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Bobby Wilson and Gaylord Wilson; and a grandson, David Mitchel Wilson, Jr.
