Obituary of Ron "Ziggy" Dozier

CAMDEN – A memorial mass for Ronald Eric “Ron, Ziggy” Dozier, 40, will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  The Rev. Father John Zimmerman will officiate.  A celebration of life service will also be held Tuesday, August 27, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Gadget’s in Lugoff.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Ron passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Donald Dean and Kathy Buettner Dozier.  He was of the Catholic faith.  He was a plumber by trade and enjoyed riding motorcycles with his many friends.

   Surviving are his fiancé, Lauren Elise Ard; daughter, Haleigh Dozier; step-daughter, Tybee Shaver; parent, Don and Kathy Dozier; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Jorge; brother, Marshall Dozier (Cassandra); sister, Melissa D. Brown (Adger); granddaughter, Alana Shaver; nieces and nephews, Kaleb Brown, David Brown, Jacob Brown, McKenzie Brown, Hannah Dozier, Madelyn Dozier and Raegan Dozier; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
