Obituary of Phillip M. Wing

ELGIN – A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Phillip Marvin Wing, 64, will be held on Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. 

    Mr. Wing passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Hornell, N.Y., he was the son of the late Eugene Leonard and Christine Gertrude McMines Wing.  He retired from Westinghouse where he was a conversion operator. He enjoyed fishing, building, and storage scavenging.   He loved life!

    Surviving are his wife, Johanna Elizabeth Eberhardt Wing; daughter, Jennifer Wing; sisters, Patty Dailey and Kathy Spahn; brother, Roger Wing; and grandchildren, Kacy Fuller, Logen Whichard and Brooke Whichard.
