Obituary of Linda Croft Harris

Camden- A funeral service for Linda Croft Harris, 76, will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Newman will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    Mrs. Harris passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Rosine Trimnal Croft. Mrs. Harris attended Church in the Garden. She was always willing to give for anyone in need. She loved her family and caring for her pet dogs.

    Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Joseph Robert “Joe” Harris; children, Joseph “Mike” Harris (Linda), Gayle Wilson (Earl), Mendy Harris (David Ross); siblings, Errol Croft (Charles), Dale Brazell (Mack), Peggy Hood, Cindy Hood (Lester); 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Thomas “Chris” Harris and Donald Mark Harris.
