KERSHAW – Funeral service for Rosie Ann Boone, 75, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at House of Prayer with Open Arms Church. Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Powers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to House of Prayer with Open Arms Church. Mrs. Boone passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Born in Saluda County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benny Wilson Chaney and Annie Louise Leopard Chaney Quattlebaum. Surviving is her son, James “Jimmy” E. Boone (Crystal); grandson, Zachary Parker Wright; sisters, Betty Biggerstaff and Joyce Petticord (Michael). She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Boone; daughter, Michelle Jewell Baskins; grandson, Dylan Boone; and brothers, Joseph Wilson Chaney and Bobby Chaney.
