I am really sorry to hear of the passing of my brother Gene. I have fought many fires over the years when we were at Westville and Shepard together.when he was Chief at Westville he could aways count on me to assist him just I could always count on him.. when you enter a burning building together, you better be able to count on your brother firefighter. With Gene, I always knew he would be there just in case. You will be missed brother. God bless you and your family my friends.

Daisy, and family, I feel like I lost another brother, Gene was a remarkable friend, Even though we met a short time ago, it feels like Ive known him all my life. Always smiling and helping us load up after singings with The Master's 3. I will miss his fellowship. I know Kershaw County Emergency Services will miss an awesome Director. Daisy, our hearts hurt so bad for the loss of such a wonderful man!! He was a true gentleman!! Gene was always there to do whatever he could to help anyone in need!!
