Obituary of David H Frazier
CASSATT - Funeral Service with military honors for SFC David Harrison Frazier, U.S. Army (Ret’d), 64, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Marshall United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Appalachian Regional Ministries, c/o Bill Barker, PO Box 740041, Louisville, Ky 40201-9976.
Mr. Frazier passed onto a new life Saturday, January 12, 2008. Born in Ashland, Ky, he was a son of the late David Kemper and Judy Lee Mullins Frazier. He received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in History from Coker College. He served in the United States Army National Guard for 3 years and retired from the United States Army after 20 years of Service. He served two tours in Vietnam and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Six Service Stars, Bronze Star Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal-2, Good Conduct Medal-6, and Purple Heart-2.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Jeanett Pate Frazier; daughter, Elizabeth Corine Harrison Frazier of Kershaw; granddaughter, Izzabella Bowers; brother, Rufus Taylor Frazier of Ashland, Ky.; and sisters, Nancy George of Columbus, Ohio, Florence Frazier of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Diana Harris of Columbus, Ohio.
