ELGIN – Funeral service for Jack Bateman Perry, 80, will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 P.M. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Perry passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020. Born in Blaney, S.C. he was the son of the late Jesse Bateman Perry and Jessie Kelly Perry. Surviving is his wife, Elaine Jeffers Perry; son, Jack Bateman Perry, Jr. (Aleasha); 5 grandchildren; and sister, Doris Perry Poole.
