LUGOFF – Graveside service for Harry Joe DuBose, 61, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery in Manning, S.C. The Rev. I. Benny Turner and the Rev. David Carlson will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. DuBose passed away on Sunday, November 03, 2013. Born in Manning, S.C., he was the son of Evelyn White DuBose and the late Ernest DuBose. He owned and operated DuBose Music in Lugoff. Harry will be remembered as the cornerstone of the local music community. Music was his medium to share love, joy and happiness with everyone he knew and his wish would be that his legacy will live on through his many students and friends. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Carol Wheat DuBose; mother, Evelyn DuBose of Manning; sons, Danny Neese (Kristy) of Mt. Pleasant, Brad Neese (Jennifer) of Columbia, Charlie Neese (Christine) of Virginia Beach, Va., and Wesley Neese (Lauren) of Isle of Palms, S.C.; and grandchildren, Emma Neese, Maddy Neese, Sam Neese, Amelia Neese, Lily Neese, and Mac Neese. He was predeceased by a brother, Carlisle DuBose.
