BETHUNE – Funeral service for Nancy Elizabeth King, 94, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Catoe Chapel Church of God in Christ with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. King, wife of the late Sim King Jr., passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Lollis and Frances Williams Clark. She retired form Springs Industries. She was a member of Catoe’s Chapel Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and caring for her family. Surviving are her children, Sallie King, Dicey Clark, Caroline Henry, Walter Jerry Clark, Eva Baskins, Willie King, Jr., Patricia Sweetenburg, Marvin King, Sammie King, Leonard King, Loretta Elerby and Pamela Ponds; 29 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and 24 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Dan Clark; daughter, Hattie Caldwell; brother, Johnny Clark; sister, Mazie Pitts; and one grandson.
