CAMDEN – Services for Joseph Roosevelt Pickett, 85, will be private. Burial will be in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Pickett, husband of the late Marie Belton Pickett, passed away at Prisma Health Toumey on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Arthur and Tena Davis Pickett. He served in the United States Army. Surviving are his daughter, Gale P. Hall; son, Timothy Pickett (Belinda); step-children, Mary Lee Brisbon (Charles), Pauline Stover (James), Helen Joseph (Claudony), Willie Rob Brisbon, Larry Brisbon (Patricia) and Bobby Brisbon; sister, Laura Fleshman; a step-brother, Clarence Missouri; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Alvin Pickett and Willie Pickett; and sisters, Kathaleen Thomas, Tena Foye and Nola Smith.
