Lugoff – A private family service to celebrate the life of Patricia Eleonore “Patty” Richardson, 53, will be held at Spears Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow The Original Fox Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. A public viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lydia Project, 1369 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909. Mrs. Richardson passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at August University Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bremerhaven, Germany, she was the daughter of Christel Maria Hessenius Walker and the late Jimmy Travis Walker. She retired from Richland School District 2 where she worked in the cafeterias. She enjoyed working in the yard, taking care of animals, arts, and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and treasured all her many wonderful memories made. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Thomas Ennies Richardson; son, Travis Otis Richardson of Lugoff; daughters, Christan Victoria Richardson of Lugoff and Tara Magan Watson (Michael) of Lugoff; brothers, David Anthony Walker and Danny Travis Walker; and grandsons, Landon River Watson and Kason Joseph Watson.
