ELGIN – Funeral services for Anna M. Weagly, 81, will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Dulaney will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church. Mrs. Weagly, wife of the late Robert Weagly, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020. Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco Cani and Alice Profeti Cani. Mrs. Weagly was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Leitner (Martin) of Winnsboro, Jackie Gray (Brian) of Lugoff; grandchildren, Melissa Ashley, Marc Ashley, Brittany Baker, and David Gray; sisters, Marisa and Maria; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Tina, Melania, Grace Tita, and Lilliania.
