I met Albert at the age of 18 in 1976 when I went to work with mills electric. Great guy ,always smiling, enjoyed working with him then and later as the city Inspector. Prayers to the family.

Albert was my crew chief and aerial observer when the Battalion went to Ft. Hood in the Summer of 1990. Prior to that, Albert was one of the first men I flew with in the old 51st Aviation Company. While at Ft. Hood, we were forrced to spend the night when our helocopter became grounded in a remote field site due to maintenance problems. It was a hot summer and we spent our time waiting for a repair team to pick us up by soaking in a stream that flowed nearby. It was a welcome bath in a time when baths were few and far between. Alberrt was a great, professional crewman and soldier and I will remember him always.

With fond memories I had the pleasure to serve with Albert in the S.C. National Guard. His knowledge of aircraft as a maintenance technician was only surpassed by his professional flying ability as a Aero Scout Observer. The friendship and service we shared as a fellow veteran instilled the "Band of Brothers" with us. Condolences to his loving wife and family.
