Obituary of Charles "Robbie" Powell

COLUMBIA       – A memorial service for Charles Robert “Robbie” Powell, 43, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Blankenship will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

    Robbie passed away Sunday, December 27. 2020. Born in Fayetteville, N.C., he was a son of the late David Wayne Powell and Sylvia Marie Lucas. Robbie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, traveling, camping and dancing.

    Surviving are his wife, Dawonda Thomas “Dee” Powell; son, Justin; brother, Jon Powell (Sandy); step-daughters, Sabrina Williams, Stephanie Carlson; and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Chris Powell.
