14. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot
be hid
15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but
on candlestick: and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is heaven.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family during this time of bereavement. Similar to the bible passage, Aunt Corlene’s light was not hidden, but set on a hill. Her light was always shining and she gladly shared it with everyone. Although this is a sad time for the family, Aunt Corlene’s light is still shining brightly in each of us today, and will continue on for generations to come.

Though I was a child then, I will never forget her prescence. I am glad I had the opportunity to visit in her home and to be with her at our family reunions.
She always came to Orangeburg when there was sickness or death. She had such a warm and inviting spirit. We always exchanged Christmas cards every year. I will truly miss her.
