Obituary of Clifton W. Anderson, Jr.

CAMDEN – A private graveside service for Clifton W. Anderson, Jr., 88, will be in Quaker Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guiding Eyes, Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center or a charity of one’s choice.

    Mr. Anderson passed away at home on Monday, February 22, 2021.  Born in Poland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifton W. Anderson Sr. and Carrie Chase Anderson.  He retired from the State of Ohio where he was a Rehabilitation Supervisor.  He served on the Kershaw County Clean Commission a was a former chairman of that commission.  Mr. Anderson was a history buff  and enjoyed reading, helping others, traveling and offshore fishing.

    Surviving are his cousin, Richard F. Stoerkel.
