Obituary of Avery Smullen

CAMDEN- A service for Avery Smullen, 65, will be private. Burial will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

    Mr. Smullen passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Born in Cambridge, MD, he was a son of the late Emerson Leroy Smullen, Sr. and Doris Jean Smullen. Mr. Smullen was a member and associate minister at Scott Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed eating seafood.

    Surviving are his wife, Julia Mark Smullen; daughter, Kelly Smullen; son, Gabriel Smullen; grandchildren, Camiron Tracy, Na’sir Tracy; brothers, Emerson Smullen, Jr, Ernest Smullen; and sisters, Victoria Smullen, Gloria Smullen and Doris Smullen. He was predeceased by3 sisters and a brother.
