Obituary of Willie Smith

CAMDEN- A funeral service for Willie Smith, 77, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnnie Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

    Mr. Smith passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Born in Cassatt, he was a son of the late Fred Smith and Marie Shannon Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of First Glory Holiness Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, playing cards, walking, and being outdoors.

    Surviving are his wife, Anise Richardson Smith; children, Margie Knight, Leslie Anese Boozer (William), Thomas Anthony D’Agostino, Jr.; 12 siblings; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 on-the-way. He was predeceased by his parents and 7 siblings.
