Obituary of Thomas DeWayne Sweet

BLYTHEWOOD – A graveside service for Thomas DeWayne Sweet, 57, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at McLeod Chapel UMC Cemetery, Rembert, S.C. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00pm at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, SC. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Mr. Sweet passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021.  Born in Sumter, S.C. he was a son of the late Lowell Arthur Sweet and Sheryl McLeod Sweet Miller.

  Surviving is his daughter, Sheryl Valentina; brothers, Lowell A. Sweet, Jr. (Susie) and Darren Sweet (Sheby); uncles, Thomas McLeod (Mavis) and Art Maxwell (Darlene); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
