Obituary of Theresa A. Shepard

ELGIN – Funeral service for Theresa A. Shepard, 63, will be held on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at International Praise Church of God.  The Rev. Doyle Roberts will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to International Praise Church of God, 5071 Percival Road, Elgin, S.C.  29045 or St. Jude Children Hospitals.

    Mrs. Shepard passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021.  Born in Beckley, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Bill Henry and Minnie Lois Parker Hyatt.  She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and was a member of International Praise Church of God.  She was a licensed minister and enjoyed cross stitching, camping and fishing.

   Surviving are her husband, Phillip T. Shepard; daughter, Rachel pack (Donald) of Beckley, W.V.; step-children, Steve Shepard (Aliane) and Andrew Shepard; siblings, Bill Hyatt, Pat Hyatt, John Hyatt, Kevin Hyatt and Shirley Hilton; and 4 grandchildren.
