Obituary of Maurice Terry Hines

ELGIN – Service for Maurice Terry Hines, 64, will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.

    Mr. Hines passed away at home on Friday, May 28, 2021.  Born in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of the late Long June and Essie Lee Carlton Hines.  He enjoyed playing softball and watching sports.  Maurice was a huge University of Michigan fan especially college football.

    Surviving are his wife, Debbie L. Hines; step-daughter, Deonca Shuler (Alex) of Columbia; and grandchildren, Chole Shuler and Miles Shuler.  He leaves behind a host of relatives and a dear friend, Belinda Jackson.
