First time I saw Duke, it was at a Protest tear down of an Uncle's drag race car of a friend of mine in Lakeland Florida. Duke had something to do with the running of the local Drag Strip, Tampa Dragway. Had to be 1962 or 63. We actually met while attending Polk Community College in Bartow Florida about a year or so later. We became good "Car" friends for just a short bit. After Jr. College I just lost track of him. I tracked him down in 2013 while looking for Class members for a Highschool Reunion. We had a good reminiscing talk but never got together, I still live in Lakeland. Loosing to many good friends right now. I will miss him.
