Obituary of Rose Marie Watson

BISHOPVILLE – Funeral service for Rose Marie Robertson Watson, 80, will be held on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The Rev. Mike Vinson will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Watson, wife of the late Thornwell Eldon Watson, Sr., passed away at home on Saturday, June 19, 2021.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Messick and Lillian Hasty Robertson.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

    Surviving are her daughters, Donna Deas (Mike) of Camden and Brenda Vinson (Mike) of Camden; son, Buddy Watson (Julie) of Lugoff; brothers, Bruce Robertson of Cassatt and Lewis Robertson of Camden; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Shanna Deas; and siblings, Coleen Baker, Blondell Massey, Burnette Robertson, Buckie Robertson, and Melvell Robertson.
