Obituary of Diana Lynn Anderson

ELGIN - A memorial service for Diana Lynn Anderson, 67, will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1hr prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org.

  Ms. Anderson passed away Monday, June 21, 2021. Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Glen Robert Sarver and Juanita Mae Peters Sarver. Ms. Anderson loved her grandchildren, traveling, and her coffee. She was an independent, loving, and caring person who always wanted to help people, even through her illness. Ms. Anderson was a deeply religious woman who loved Jesus.

  Surviving is her daughter, Tammy Sarver Tarte (Henry “Toby” Barry Tarte, IV) and their children, Amber Lynn Barfield (James) and Britney Nicole King; grandchildren, Donnie Michael King and Grayson Mueller, and Erin Nicole Gardner; her son, James Stewart Rugg and his children, Trevor Matthew Rugg (Elizabeth), Brandon Austin Rugg, and Brianna Michelle Rugg; grandchildren, Macy and Matthew Rugg, and Payton; sisters, Darlene Taley (Steve) and Debbie Stewart. She was predeceased by her sister, Vicky Musch and brother, Larry Glen Sarver.
