Obituary of Cathi Gladden

LUGOFF – Graveside service for Catherine Hambrick Gladden, 63, will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Gladden passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.  Born in Moncrief Hospital on Fort Jackson, she was the daughter of the late Harold Michael Hambrick and Catherine Pauline Brogan Greenwood. She was the office manager at Lugoff-Elgin Water Authority and a member of Lugoff Friendship Baptist Church.  She enjoyed shopping, vacationing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her favorite time of the year was Christmas.

   Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Ronald Eugene Gladden; son, Tyler Gladden (Amanda); step-daughter, Amanda Bradhham (Chad); sister, Ann Jungclaus (Kenneth); brothers, Michael Hambrick and Danny Hambrick; and grandchildren, MaKenna Gladden, Jace Gladden, Kassie Blake Lea, Donovan Bradham, Dawson Bradham; and great-grandchildren Deklyn Lea and Madleigh Lynn Bradham.
