Obituary of Eric Scott Corbin

LUGOFF - Eric Scott Corbin, 74, formally of Sacramento, CA, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born in Stamford, CT, on April 10, 1947 he was a son of the late Camille John Corbin and Bertha Eva Brix Corbin. Eric was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in 1969 from UCLA and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard of California. Eric retired from the Sacramento Sherriff department and Reynolds Tobacco.  

    Eric was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Jane Randall Corbin. Surviving are his constant companion, Rhonda Brazell; and adopted family, Laken Barnes, Neco Dylan Barnes and Declan Davidson.

    A private burial with military honors will be held in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
