Obituary of Zachary Alex Anderson

CASSATT- A funeral service for Zachary Alex “Zack” Anderson, 22, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sandy Grove UMC cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home, Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center.

    Zack passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. Born in Camden, he was a son of Michael Wayne Anderson and Kimberly Dawn Jones. Zachary enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing with his nephews, bonfires, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with his family and friends.

    Surviving are his mother, Kimberly Dawn Jones of Cassatt; father Michael Anderson (Tammy Starnes) of Cassatt; brother, Michael W. Anderson, Jr. (Christy) of Cassatt; Katelyn Anderson (Austin Lyles) of Cassatt; nephews, Clayton and Demarieon Anderson; grandparents, William and Beulah Starnes, James and Estelle Anderson, David and Martha Lee Jones, and Cynthia Lynn Jones; and step-siblings, Chris Petit, Samantha Mobley-Petit and Johnathan Butler.
