Obituary of Luanna Campbell-Lyles

Luanna Campbell-Lyles was born February 14, 1960. In Camden S.C. She was the beloved daughter of late Frank Campbell Jr. and Marie Porter-Campbell. She quietly passed away at the age of 61, at the Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Luanna, affectionately known as “Lou” or  Shakikitita”, attended Public School in Camden, South Carolina, and was a member of the High Hill Baptist Church of Lugoff S.C.

After school she became a Certified Nurse Assistant for 30 plus years.  She enjoyed cooking, shopping and bingo.

Mrs. Lyles is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Mack Lyles of the home; one son, Kelvin M. Campbell of Camden S.C.; four daughters, Yvette Howard of Columbia S.C., Michelle Washington of Gastonia N.C., Bridgette Lyles of Greenville S.C., Adriana M. Lyles of Camden S.C.; two sisters, Dorothy M. Campbell, and Rosa M. Campbell, both of Camden; one brother, Kavin (Lorie) Campbell, of Camden S.C.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; three special cousins, Ms. Frances Campbell, Ms. Sharon Campbell, and Ms. Johnnie Mae Campbell, all of Camden South Carolina; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lugoff.
