Obituary of Henry McManus

CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Clyde Henry McManus, Sr., 72, will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research in honor of his grandson, Rosby Warnock.

    Mr. McManus passed away at MUSC Kershaw Health on Friday, September 10, 2021.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles Leroy and Shirley Pauline Ghent McManus.  He retired from Cooper Tools and was a licensed Barber.  He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

    Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Claudia McLeod McManus; children, Kim Beam of Auburn, Ala., Clyde McManus of Surfside Beach, and April Gillard (Antwone) of Ridgeway; brother, Jerry McManus (Jane) of Concord; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
